Medical exemptions
A buggy may be used by a golfer with a medical certificate over holes 10,11,12 &17.

Distances:

There are yellow 150 yard plates in the centre of the fairways and certain sprinkler heads provide distances all to the centre of the green.

Pin Positions:

The colour of the flag determines where the flag is located on the green.
Blue = Front  Yellow = Middle  Red = Back

On Course Toilet Facilities: 

There are no toilet facilities on the golf course. You will return to the clubhouse after playing the ninth hole. 

Environmental Areas:

These areas are denoted by white post with and green stripes they are found on holes 7, 8, & 18.

If you hit your ball into these area’s you cannot and must not enter these areas to search for your ball.

If you hit you ball straight into these areas off the tee, you reload and play again or use the Drop Zone for that hole, both options with 1 shot penalty. {Drop Zones are denoted by yellow posts with black stripes}

If your ball crosses the fairway and enters those areas, you go to the point of entry, drop a new ball within 2 club lengths no nearer the hole, with 1 shot penalty.

If the ball is in play but you would have to stand in those areas to take your shot, you will have to take relief of one club length distance no nearer the hole without penalty.

Buggies:

Call the golf shop for daily updates.

Pace of Play:

The time to complete a round at Wychwood Park is 4 hours 40minutes, timings for each hole are shown on your scorecard.

No one enjoys slow play you must keep up with the game in front of you.

Always be in a position and ready to take your next shot.

If you hit a ball into an area where you feel you might struggle to find that ball play a provisional ball, keep a ball in play.

Remember you only have 3 minutes to search for a lost ball.

If you find you are holding up the game behind and they are waiting for you to play, you must:

Speed Up.

Move Aside and allow the following game to play through [Good Golf Etiquette.}

Be prepared to miss holes out.

If you are found to be causing severe congestion on the course, you maybe asked to leave the Course.

Respect the course:

Divots – Replace

Pitch marks – Repair

Bunkers – Rake

Please adhere to all Course Signage and any Roped Off Areas.

Use bins provided for your rubbish.

White posts in bunkers:

A white post in a bunker indicates that the bunker has been deemed GUR and full relief may be taken.

Health & Safety:

It is your responsibility to ensure it safe ahead to take your next shot, if in doubt delay, or if in doubt when the ball is in flight shout ‘FORE’.

Watch your footing on slopes / inclines.

By mindful of Streams / Ponds.

Care must be taken when crossing the Estate Roads because of vehicular traffic.

Severe Weather: 

When severe weather is within the area, play will be suspended until the risk has blown through. If you hear 3 blasts of the klaxon, you must cease playing, mark your ball and make your way to a safe area. Play will resume only when deemed safe.
