- Leisure golf can be arranged on day of arrival or day of departure.
The competition format is pairs better ball. Full rules will be explained on arrival. There will be prizes for both days and the overall winner as in previous years. A buggy can be pre-booked at a special rate for £70 which covers all three rounds (20 available). Gent's Winter League Round Up
Another great field saw another batch of great scores with the masters of pairs betterball, Nick and Elliott, bringing in another 45 point haul. Well played boys. Full results were as follows:
First place - Nick Davenport and Elliott Burge - 45 points (£26.63 each), second place - Daz Sumner and Matt Crowther - 44 points (£15.98 each) and in third place - Matt Horton and Pete Cavanagh - 43 points (£10.65 each).
The final round of the Winter League takes place this Sunday and it is the last chance to get inside the top 16 and qualify for the matchplay stages. My predictions to enter the top 16 are:
Good luck to all competitors.
Course Update
We have busy working on a number of projects this week, including:
Greenside 16th bunker complete.
Fairway 16th bunker complete.
All bunkers have now been edged.
Pitch Marks
With the greens being quite wet at the moment, it is imperative that we try to keep the surfaces as good as possible. Everyone should repair their own pitchmarks, but if you do see any others please don't leave them - just repair them. It is very important they are repaired correctly as doing it wrong can also cause some damage.
Special Offers
We have a number of special offers running in the pro shop this week, including:
So make sure you come down to the pro shop this weekend and grab yourself a bargain.
